CEO & President

Antonio (Tony) Rosendo attended Colorado College for his undergraduate degree and Denver University for graduate school. Shortly after graduation, Tony realized his passion for working with underserved youth and developed a turnaround school in 2005. This passion led him to co-found Atlas Prep. Today, he is the Executive Director of the John and Margot Lane Foundation and the President/CEO of the Bloom Foundation.

Tony currently sits on the Board of Trustees for Colorado College, along with the Pikes Peak Community Foundation board and the Downtown Development Authority board.

JENNIFER GEORGE

Philanthropic Advisor

Jenny attended the University of Maryland, where she was her department’s valedictorian, and received her master’s degree from the University of Colorado. A brief stint teaching art in an under-resourced charter school showed Jenny the power of philanthropy, and led her to pursue a career in advancement. Jenny served as the Development Director at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Development Officer at Pikes Peak Community College Foundation, and founding Philanthropy Director at Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs. 

She now serves as a philanthropic advisor to both the John and Margot Lane Foundation and the Bloom Foundation, and is the Director of the GE Johnson Foundation. As a volunteer, she is a trustee of the Nutrition Camp Foundation, and previously served as board chair of both the Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center and the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region.

Phil is the Board Chairman and Secretary of the Foundation. He is actively involved in the day to day activities of the foundation and is passionate about building philanthropic support within the Colorado Springs area. He is a community leader that is dedicated to making Colorado Springs the best city to live, work and play in.

Anita met Phil at Northwestern University and they married in 1991. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Illinois. She is the owner of Touchstone Internal Medicine. She and Phil have three daughters. She enjoys golf, fitness, and musical theater.

David Lane attended Junior High and High School in Colorado Springs and operated the family’s business interests in Arizona and New Mexico.  He is currently involved in business and other philanthropic interests.  He and his wife Leesa spilt their time between Arizona and Idaho.  They have two adult children, Andrea and Spencer.

Board Director & Treasurer

Eric Ryan serves as a Director on the Foundation’s board. He is a Partner at Stockman Kast Ryan & Co and has been in public accounting since 1977. He is actively involved in the Colorado Springs Community and is chairman of the Foundation for Colorado Springs’ Future.

Soon after moving to Colorado Springs in 1995, Jennifer had the good fortune of meeting Margot Lane. Margot connected Jennifer and her husband, Jeff, to Anita and Phil, and lifelong friendships began. Jennifer formerly served the nonprofit community in leadership roles for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and Discover Goodwill and their corresponding foundation boards. Jennifer is retired from the practice of law.

Program Officer

Laura is the foundation’s Program Officer and the Principal of Beacon for Good. She earned an MBA from the Marshall School at the University of Southern California and has worked in the philanthropic sector for most of her career. She serves on the Goodwill of Colorado Board and mentors one of Colorado Springs’ Best & Brightest. Laura and her husband John have two adult children and enjoy living along Colorado Springs’ beautiful front range.
